Maribel was born together with her brothers in Virginia but details of their childhood are not available, was raised by her parents and grandparents. As a child Maribel was interested in becoming an attorney and pursued her career in the legal field. But after she completed her high school, she chose to go to the University of Virginia. There she earned a bachelor's degree in Foreign Policy as well as a Minor in German. Thomas Jefferson, an author of the Declaration of Independence, founded the university in 1819. The university now has over 100 programs around Jefferson's Academical Village - a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The area is around 1,600 acres to the main university, and many more are devoted to its research park, and the school's farm. Maribel continued to New York Law School for Juris Doctor studies after she completed her degree. Maribel Aber NYLS, a private school of law that has a number of prominent faculty members who have prior experience in the business field and law field.
